Resources

Whether you’re a family member, friend, caregiver, educator, or

At the Edmonton Down Syndrome Society, we’re committed to supporting individuals with Down syndrome and their families through information, advocacy, community connection and practical support. We work alongside families, professionals and community partners to foster inclusion, empower individuals and strengthen support across every stage of life.

Community & Family Support Services

Our Director of Community & Family Services helps individuals and families find the information, guidance and support they need. From personalized assistance and advocacy to workshops, events and peer connections, we’re here to help families navigate each stage of life.

Downright Lucky Team

Welcoming a baby with Down syndrome can bring questions, emotions and a lot of new information. Our Downright Lucky Team is a compassionate group of volunteer parents and advocates who offer connection and peer support to families welcoming a new baby or navigating a recent diagnosis.
